A New Message from the 2008 Association President

The Gahanna Area Realty Association was created in 1974 with Jack Wolock as the groups first elected President. The group consisted of professional Realtors, lenders, title companies along with other folks involved in Real Estate in the Gahanna market place.

The creation of this organization was and still is to share information and ideas concerning the local Real Estate market.

It was determined that this group could be an asset to the Gahanna Community if they were not only a group of professionals but also a group of benevolent people with ability to help those in the Gahanna community that were in need of assistance. From that idea came the charitable arm of the Association known as the "Needy Family Fund".

During the past 19 years we have raised and distributed back into the Gahanna Community between $150,000 and $ 200,000. These funds were mainly used during the Holidays but we assist Gahanna residents in need whenever we have the resources.

For the past 6 years or so we have aliened ourselves with the Gahanna Charitable organization called G.R.I.N., Gahanna Residents In Need.

We raise our monies by having an annual Golf outing, Donations every week at the meetings and our annual Christmas Breakfast and silent auction. We approach all of the Gahanna area businesses for donations to this auction and we are extremely appreciative of their kindness.
